WRITERS! We are also taking entries for our “9uake” script competition. We are looking for unsolicited scripts up to 15 minutes long in the horror genre (maximum 15 A4 pages).
To be eligible, the script should be correctly formatted (there are a number of programmes out there to help with this).
We want something courageous, extraordinary and cutting edge…Oh, and the theme must have something to do with the number “9”.
The winner of 9uake will be offered an in-house production opportunity with Nine Ladies Film: an award-winning professional indie film company specialising in horror film-making.
Nine Ladies Film will help bring your awesome script to the screen and propel it into the public domain.

9LadiesFilmFestival is a distinguished independent film festival showcasing short films from around the world to an audience of film fans and movie-makers.
We will consider uber-unique and compelling short cinematic works in the following criteria:

Our festival runs throughout the year and submissions are accepted from both emerging and established movie-makers.
Each successful finalist will enjoy a specific location for their live screening, from historical houses to modern cinemas.
Our judges are carefully picked from the film industry for their own skills and outstanding contributions to the art.
